    LSU clearly played a good inspired game vs Alabama. It is ridiculous to assert that they should be ranked #2. Just like in 2002, USC was playing the best ball in the country at the end of the season, but in no way should they have been ranked higher than Miami or Ohio St.

    LSU has lost a lot of good players and had to build as they went, right now they seem to be coming together and they would pound Oregon just like they did last year and nobody else is nearly as talented

    LSU is the 2nd best team in america right now, they proved it last night by nearly beating the best team in america

    not bias. Zona has wins over USC, Oklahoma St, and Toledo, 3 currently ranked teams. They just have played a ridiculously tough SOS. The #3 ranked SOS in the country to date. All the computer polls are not published till after the bcs is made public by espn, but I suspect that they will be in the top-25 in the computers. They are 17th in Sagarin's bcs version.

    Oregon is much, much better than you are giving credit for.

    Pretty much all I can think of. They don't really have many opportunities to play against Bama/LSU/85' Bears defenses.

    When your top ten is that bad, you aren't going to get the benefit of the doubt. Giving credit for ND winning ugly with defense and criticizing Oregon for winning ugly with offense doesn't make much sense. Oregon would have beaten Pitt before 20 min ticked off the clock. Having a weakness on one side of the ball or another leaves yourself vulnerable, regardless of which side of the ball that is. All those southern teams have better defenses than Oregon, but their offenses aren't good enough to exploit an Oregon defense like USC did last night, so it wouldn't matter much. It'd be strength vs strength and then weakness vs weakness if they played each other. That's why at this point I think it's Alabama, KSU, Oregon, and ND in that order. After that, who cares. Alabama is the most complete, best defense and the perfect offense to compliment that nasty D. KSU is kind of like Bama-lite, but the offense is better than the d. They don't make many mistakes and will beat you physically. Oregon has the best offense in the country and a defense that will make enough plays to give the offense a chance to win it against anybody except possibly Alabama. ND has a good defense and a mediocre offense. Their offense is the worst unit of any top 4 team and thats why their 4th. in the end they've all taken care of their business and deserve to be top 4.

    The Patriots went undefeated in the NFL due to great offense, maybe the best one the NFL has ever seen

    I think we are right there with LSU, its a toss up between those 2

    But FSU is still green and capable of shitting the bed, losing that NC ST game was just pathetic

    But it will likely be FSU's last loss for awhile if they play up to their potential from here on out

    I think Jimbo learned to step on other teams throats instead of playing conservative when we have the lead. IMO you'll start to see our team really put it on people.
