LSU clearly played a good inspired game vs Alabama. It is ridiculous to assert that they should be ranked #2. Just like in 2002, USC was playing the best ball in the country at the end of the season, but in no way should they have been ranked higher than Miami or Ohio St.

LSU has lost a lot of good players and had to build as they went, right now they seem to be coming together and they would pound Oregon just like they did last year and nobody else is nearly as talented

not bias. Zona has wins over USC, Oklahoma St, and Toledo, 3 currently ranked teams. They just have played a ridiculously tough SOS. The #3 ranked SOS in the country to date. All the computer polls are not published till after the bcs is made public by espn, but I suspect that they will be in the top-25 in the computers. They are 17th in Sagarin's bcs version.
Oregon is much, much better than you are giving credit for.

Pretty much all I can think of. They don't really have many opportunities to play against Bama/LSU/85' Bears defenses.

They don't make many mistakes and will beat you physically. Oregon has the best offense in the country and a defense that will make enough plays to give the offense a chance to win it against anybody except possibly Alabama. ND has a good defense and a mediocre offense. Their offense is the worst unit of any top 4 team and thats why their 4th. in the end they've all taken care of their business and deserve to be top 4.
