Noles, lose 500k to play in ACC Champ game?

    Not one student I know wanted to go. Personally I would rather have had a rematch with Clemson in Doak again.

    They really need to move it to the higher ranked teams stadium. Most of the powerhouses for both division aren't close to the game.

    Seriously, home games for higher ranked would be much much better..neither Jacksonville nor Charlotte are appealing to stage this

    UNC and Miami were both ineligible, that left a 6 win team as the opponent for FSU, 8 hours away from Tallahassee.

    The game sold out when FSU/VT played in Charlotte a few years ago.

    It was more about the location and the third best team from the Coastal as the representative. Even GT fans think their offense is boring to watch.

    It should be played in stadium of the higher ranked team.

  • I don't agree it should be played in the stadium of the higher ranked team, teams shouldn't get home field advantage in a conference title game

    I wish the game was played in Miami every year, cool location and one worth going to for a weekend even if the game sucks

    Add a marquee matchup and you get a fantastic atmosphere, one that Charlotte could never dream of matching

    I also see that obviously that would be Miami's home stadium but screw it, its the best location

  • yeah, the ACC totally mismanages how the Championship game works. the school is forced to buy 10000 tickets and is on th hook to sell them. when you get a shitty matchup like that you wont sell those tickets. its usually cheaper to buy the other tickets that are on stubhub and the universities get the crappier tickets anyway

    we didn't have an opponent until the end of week 13 which makes it hard to plan for and then you get a garbage matchup with a team that doesn't travel well. add in the fact that its an outdoor game in north Carolina in December. not smart. would much rather play somewhere like Atlanta in a dome.
