When Marvin Austin gets a B+ in a 400 level summer course before his first full semester on campus and before he's taken a required, low level writing course just to be eligible, this shouldn't come as a surprise.

Well looks like North Carolina will be hurting for a long time in football. I do not know how much it will affect their basketball team though. They should have to vacate games just like we had to a few years back for this same mess.

Sad that these kids don't take advantage of a great academic situation for free.
NCAA is going to want to know how kids were given good grades for classes they didn't have to show up too, and there were unauthorized grade changes.

Roy Williams when interviewed said "my players only represented 3% of the African American Studies program, so why would I be concerned?"...oh, I don't know, maybe because your entire squad is 12 players. Half your team in a major which is involved in blatant academic fraud; nothing to see here.
