  • Found this company that has hotel rooms in Miami at a discount. It's just like the ticket operation where you get the chance to buy the ticket at face value IF AND ONLY IF your team makes the Championship, but with hotel rooms. The rooms are also discounted.

    I ask this because i tried to get natty champ tickets and they wanted me to put up $600 bucks just for the reservation. NON REFUNDABLE

    No, you do not get refunded for the Room Reserve. The idea is that you have access to a room in the heart of the action if your team makes it (at a discount), but if they lose and don't make the game, then you don't have to pay a cancellation fee either (like one-night's stay). If ND makes the game, then you'll have 3 days after the final regular season BCS rankings are released to call the hotel directly and pay.

    The RR's are cheaper than the ticket operation at this point -- not $600 yet -- more like $30.

  • That sounds pretty cool. I think they kinda do something like for some of the bowl games. Sort of like an option on a room. Worth a shot to get something decently priced for an SEC team. Might hedge my bets and get a Georgia and Alabama. Just gotta do the math!
