Notre Dame and Florida are the top 2 teams in the nation.

  • Notre Dame and Florida look like the exact same team to me. Powerful at the lines of scrimmage, rarely make back breaking mistakes, played gauntlet schedules, and neither give a flip about style points. I think they are the top 2 teams in the country.

    Florida's resume is better than UGA or Bama and it's not even close. Georgia has beat 3 teams with winning records and two of them were Vandy and Georgia Southern. Bama has only 1 win over a top 25 team in LSU. UF has wins over what will be 3 top 10 BCS teams and FSU who will be around 15-17 in the BCS.

    The SEC title game should be irrelevant and Florida should go over either team to the National title game to play Notre Dame.

    Well Georgia beat Florida so that one is pretty obvious...and If Alabama beats beats Georgia you could make a case there as well. Also Bama had better showings against Mizzou and Tenn. And has just flat out looked better all year.

    But there is no arguing Georgia is better than UF.

    Florida played their worst game of the year and Georgia could barely beat them. They have a better loss than Georgia who got blown out 35-7 and have 4 times the amount of quality wins as Georgia or Alabama. They are more deserving.

    Well the simple explanation would be that we lost to LSU by 3 points last year in the regular season and that was it. They were the only undefeated team in the country and the rest of the teams shat the bed behind us. Outside of that game, we basically ass raped everyone else we played.

    UF had 5 touchdowns in their previous 4 games before FSU and that included the cupcakes. I mean you barely escaped LA-Lafayette. You did well and all, but you didn't pass the eye test for most throughout the year. UGA has a loss this season and LSU didn't last year.

    It's really semantics, but if we beat UGA, I would rather play UF than ND for the title. I think UF's offense is poo-poo at best.
