Actually when I read up I kind of lumped you in with MisterBojangles. That is honestly my bad. Bit trashed
It wasn't you that said that UF should be ahead of Bama in the polls. Whether you believe it or not, I put the response on the wrong person. Things just fall funny sometimes. We wouldn't have had a shot at the title last year had everyone ahead of us after losing to LSU shat the bed.
If ND would have lost to USC tonight, UF would have been in the title game more than likely. Just didn't work out that way. Hell in 2008, who would have thought UF would have gotten a chance at the natty after losing to a crappy Ole Miss team? Answer is that they wouldn't have if everyone that jumped them after that loss didn't screw it up for themselves. The chips fall in interesting ways sometimes. When we lost to A&M, I thought we were out of it. Then KSU and OU shat the bed. College football is a fickle fvcking game for sure.

Notre Dame and Florida look like the exact same team to me. Powerful at the lines of scrimmage, rarely make back breaking mistakes, played gauntlet schedules, and neither give a flip about style points. I think they are the top 2 teams in the country.
Florida's resume is better than UGA or Bama and it's not even close. Georgia has beat 3 teams with winning records and two of them were Vandy and Georgia Southern. Bama has only 1 win over a top 25 team in LSU. UF has wins over what will be 3 top 10 BCS teams and FSU who will be around 15-17 in the BCS.
The SEC title game should be irrelevant and Florida should go over either team to the National title game to play Notre Dame.

Well Georgia beat Florida so that one is pretty obvious...and If Alabama beats beats Georgia you could make a case there as well. Also Bama had better showings against Mizzou and Tenn. And has just flat out looked better all year.
But there is no arguing Georgia is better than UF.

Bama has played 2 good teams all year. They should have lost both, did lose 1 to a team Florida beat. The best thing to happend to Alabama all year was us giving 6 turnovers away and losing in Jacksonville. Gumps are just mad because Forrest didn't win the Heisman that time and they dont understand why.
