  • whether or not Teo was in on it from the beginning, rolled with it after finding out he was duped, or was completely innocent........the kid is an idiot in all three scenarios. Domers can't take it that the kid is getting called out for being an idiot cause he is one of their own. Thats all there is to it. Yeah, there is a parallel to the way the Pedo State fans stuck their head in the sand and rationalized away all the evidence. Teo is a dumbass and that is how everybody will remember him no matter how much the Domers try to defend the indefensible.

  • They really are being overly sensitive. Nobody has all the facts, yet they are bashing anyone who assumes Teo/ND are in on it....but at the same time they(without facts) are assumming that he is just a moron who was duped.

    As to your first part of your post, I agree, whole heartedly. He acted immaturely and idiotically. I can't argue that at all.

    As for your "don't believe it one bit" line, I am not sure why you believe all these other anonymous sources, but not this one. Guess that is your right to believe whatever you want.

    I can understand if Te'o was embarrassed about the relationship, lied to his parents, and even the media when pressed. However...the kid voluntarily did interviews for ESPN, among others, talking about his gf's death. He didn't have to do any of those. He could have simply passed the buck and say he didn't want to do interviews. Why would he voluntarily go to these interviews and lie about the relationship? If someone is lying due to embarrassment, then they're going to want to minimize how much they talk about it.

    Not sure. Maybe the guy had a girl that was in on it. Maybe guy sounds feminish. Maybe Te'o is lying. I have a feeling there is still more to this yet.

    As for the rest of your points, all valid. I agree. Why the heck do interviews and speak on something if you know it is fake? Maybe he wasn't sure it was fake? Maybe he didn't feel comfortable refusing to speak on something he thought was real at one time? Who knows. I can't speak for him because I can't expect someone else to act as I would.

    I learned a long time ago that everyone is different, comes from different upbringings, have different outlooks and if I am going to question the motives of someone who doesn't think or act like me every time, my life will be wasted.

    I take everything I have read and make my own assumptions out of it. I have an opinion, just like everyone else, and that is all. My opinion is Te'o is FOS, did it for publicity, and is now trying to find a way out of it that doesn't make himself look bad. IMO, no way a popular football player resorts to online dating and never meets this girl he's been dating. Which is what he's trying to say now. He's basically saying now he was hoaxed and never met her, yet his dad claims he met her several times. Sorry, but the liar's confessions just aren't lining up, which tells me he's still lying.
