Notre Dame fans is it true that Louis Nix is leaving?

  • If so what is wrong with your D-lineman leaving the program

Forget D-Linemen...the question is what is wrong with our football program??? Why do we turn a top 10 recruiting class into a bunch of nobodies year in and year out and have a mediocre record every year for the past 20 seasons??

Ill tell you, not sure if you want to hear it though

Its as simple as two words really

    Academic Restrictions

It is killing Miami and has been killing ND since the early 90's

You can't have academic standards in a game like football where most of the great players couldn't care less about their school work

have to agree with you although Stanford , UNC and others have done and admirable job fielding a team lately ..Vandy has even done a better job lately

    Stanford

Seriously, that's BS. Those guys going to ND have offers from a bunch of football powerhouses year-in and year out. You're telling me that of all the 4-star/5-star guys out there, the ones that commit to ND are the only ones who are over-rated/not really that athletic?

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Yeah you do have Stanford sitting there, and they're more strict than ND. If we can make it happen with academics they can. I think not having a recruiting base hurts if you don't have the right coaches, and they haven't had that in awhile. Managing an entire squad of OOS kids is tough.

True, but Stanford is now without Harbaugh and Luck.... lets see what happens

  • That 1 extra foreign language credit ND requires of its incoming freshman sure is a major academic hurdle. They offer the same exact guys as everybody else, unlike Stanford.

    What ?

And again, how many titles has Stanford won ? the answer is zero

Also everybody knows that ND gets their rankings inflated a lot of the time, not all.... but some of their kids are not elite recruits

ND doesn't recruit like a Bama or LSU, even FSU.... on paper sure but they only get a few Aaron Lynch's each year whereas somebody like FSU or LSU and Bama roll them in by the boatloads

I can't even name a star RB or true star WR ND has signed in forever, and they have been shitting the bed real hard in terms of finding a QB

    Not true really but okay

I have seen Miami for example pass on all kinds of kids they would have always taken in the past

Its a no brainer why they suck now

    Thugs = good football players

I wouldn't expect some UCLA fan to understand that though, why your school still has a football program is a mystery to all of us

RB - Cierre Wood, Jonas Gray, George Atkinson, Theo Riddick, Keivarare Russell...all high school all-americans signed the last 5yrs

WR - Davonte Neal, Davaris Daniels, Tai-ler Jones, Shaq Evans, Deion Walker, Michael Floyd, John Goodman...all high school all-americans signed the last 5yrs

And they just signed the #1 QB in the '12 class.

Talent is not the issue at Notre Dame. At least on paper it isn't.

Did you read anything I posted lol ? god you suck man

I clearly said on paper they look talented

LMAO at some of those you listed, proves my point.... not yours

Your ad hominems and roflmao don't make your unfounded posts true. I just listed a dozen RB/WR that they have signed in the past 5yrs that were chosen to play in 1 of the 2 major high school all-american games. And they just signed the #1 QB who had an offer from everybody. You can say they suck in hindsight, but they were believed to be among the best players in the nation coming out of high school.

No matter what the topic; whether it be California QBs, exercise, or recruiting...you have this belief that your ad hominems and roflmao trump facts. I am sure you have a lot of success in life with that strategy.

So when ND pulls a recruit away from LSU (Kiel) or Bama, etc., that means that LSU/Bama really dodged a bullet?

It'd be one thing if ND's recruits had ND as their only major offer and still got 4-stars. When you have nationally recruited guys going to ND, it kind of throws a wrench in your argument; these kids were good enough to get offers from Saban/Miles/FSU/UGA/Ohio State/Michigan/USC, etc.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Good point and that nerd was the biggest pussy to ever wear an FSU uniform

Im trolling though cause we got a MSU fan, a UCLA fan and whoever the hell else arguing this

3 schools that know jack dick about players down south.... you know.... real football players with talent and baggage that you need to win national championships

But again, you all clearly now shit about that so carry on and load up your teams with a bunch of white dudes who get good grades, hell you can have Myron Rolle too

Oh and yes, and we also produced Greg Reid, James Wilder, Fred Rouse, Peter Warrick, L Coles, and a handful of other trouble making badasses that led us to 2 national titles and another 6 tries at the Sears Trophy

You clearly don't even understand what I am saying

I don't care who they signed, I saw them on the field last year and that team was as homo as dicks everywhere

    Terrible looking team

And they don't and never have any players with edge to them like a Cam Newton or a Reggie Bush, they just never have it cause they have such large sticks up their anus and have actually convinced themselves they can win titles with integrity that they ignore these kinds of kids usually

For example we took a chance on a kid named Arrington Jenkins, ND would never touch a kid like that and they pat themselves on the back for it

I could go on for days of other examples

Then when they take a chance on somebody like Lynch, the kid is so out of his element he bolts cause he can't handle that culture

This to me is ND's biggest problem, disagree all you want
