Because Nebraska has a smart AD who understands college football and its changing landscape. Look, if you guys are too good to join the B1G then why play any of our teams at all? I'm sure you can get plenty of Big East and Conference USA teams to play you every year.

It is other teams fans that has kept ND above water and ND knows that or they would play non AQ teams to AT LEAST have a shot at a BCS bid. ND does'nt care about winning. It's $. The record and strength of schedule clearly shows it. If it was'nt for USC fans Michigan fans and Stanford fans ND would be bankrupt. It's about money and thats why other teams play ND, plus it's almost a guaranteed win now days.

Matter of fact I went back and checked your posts.
All of them consists of about 2-4 meaningless sentences (consisting of a whopping 5 words) of you criticizing someone or trying to prove them wrong without giving your slightest point of view.\
This isn't even worth the debate cuz obviously you have no idea what your talking about

What? What I wrote was a clumsy post? So are you saying that without your opponents fans you guys would still be this football rich.
Say you play each team in your conference 4 times a year (12 games), I suppose ND stadium would still sellout??? Your fans would care less about playing BYU Airforce and Army. So would their fans about playing you. Theres no way ND is as football rich without your opponents fans.
BTW I hav'nt seen you write 1 (Not one) post that has your own conclusion.
All you have done is criticized others posts with childish remarks like "clumsy post, your stupid, don't know what your talking about, no thats never happened." and have never given your opinion on to how you think the way you do.
If it's a clumsy post, then please tell me how you think so and what you think. Because I would like to know how other teams fans has not given you atleast 60% of the earnings from playing out of conference games. No way ND is as football rich without other teams fans.
I'll wait.

I don't understand your saying that ND's schedule is so cupcake. Every school plays teams that they 'should' beat. Notre Dame is always criticized for their schedule. Schedules are made way in advance. You never know if a team is going to be good or bad 5 or 10 yrs from now. You won't find DII teams on their schedule like most other schools do. Lots of 'experts' say that ND probably has the toughest schedule this year, but I am sure there will be people that say it was easy if they win 10+ games.
Then you say that ND 'needs' other teams fans. WHAT?!?!?!? Did you start drinking early today? ND doesn't need any school or anyones fans. We play all around the country because we can. If a school wants off our schedule, there are plenty of other schools in line more than willing to take their place. ND doesn't need $$$. Are you kidding me? ND is, and always will be "football rich". I would like you to explain how these other schools are keeping ND above water.
I can't wait for ND football to be back to where it belongs. Everyone (those with brains) knows college football is better when ND is in the picture. To think otherwise is ludicrous. We have been taking a beating from you other fans for years. That's because everyone knows ND is always relevant. If they weren't, you wouldn't keep talking about ND. With all the things you stated, and the fact it seems you don't really know, or have proof of these things, Ibelieve that is what he meant by "clumsy".
I would also like to thank you personally for keeping ND above water and letting us still be able to function as a university.
I would like to thank Navy for paying for our team to play them in Ireland, because we are broke.

None other than the BUCKEYES. And yes it's 105,000 everytime we play. And 80,000 at this years spring game in 50 degree weather and raining. Which is ND's capacity.
ND would not sell out AT ALL if every game was against Army Airforce and BYU. And it should sell out. ND has the most exciting schedule every year because of all the non-conference games. Try selling out when your non-conf games consists of Toledo, Akron, San Diego State, Ohio, Bowling Green, and etc.....
Which OSU still does.

Conference game BYU, thats about it. Army and Airforce every now and then.
The strength of schedule comment was supposed to reflect on their winning or losing record. Not to point out a cupcake schedule. Everyone in the nation knows it's not cupcake so I would never intend on implying that. You must have been confused.
Yes we do pay them, because were so good Colorado did'nt want to play us. I know it sounds funny because Colorado would play you guys for free, and 50/50 chance says they're pretty confident at winning (insert emoticon)
How are you even making a funny with that emoticon. Im begining to believe the rumors on ND fans. That they are wrapped up in their own world.
