The team is so good we do not need a QB.

    You planning another takeover?

  • Wow, this thread went south quick, I had to bypass the last few pages because I couldnt take anymore of the talent>heart or heart>talent spewage anymore. So sorry if this has been covered. It always has, and always will take both. Theres no exact science to it, every game is different, every team is different. Some days, our talent will pull out a win, some days a win could be influenced a little more by heart. Now this being a uofm/nd football thread (not talent vs heart), nd fans, what is your greatest strength, and greatest weakness heading into this season? I'll say our greatest strength is returning our back 7 on defense, and our biggest weakness is oline, moreso because of lack of depth, but also replacing starters and guys changing position.

Implying better runner and passer equals better but ok.

Saying he's a better passer than Denard isn't really that boastful. Half of his completed passes are 50/50 ducks thrown in the air. Don't be a homer. Guy's going to be a great punt returner in the NFL.

Exactly my point. Over half of the MAC QB's are better passers than Denard.

fingergun Don't be a hater. It was no where near 50/50 on his completed passes. Good thing though he was a better passer than Braxton Miller last year.

Our greatest strengths on offense will be the o-line, RB's and TE's-weaknesses will be QB's (inexperience) WR's will be OK. I think Golson will start with Hendrix as the backup.
Defense will be the front 7-we have a lot of depth here even with losing Aaron Lynch. CB's will be a weakness (inexperience and depth) S's will be OK.
We have a top 25 team, we just had a severe case of the Tommy the Turn Over Machine Rees disease last season.

Yeah 14 of 17 against you guys last year and 3 TD passes. Sounds very 50/50 to me. You also left out he says better runner which is hilarious.

You get butt hurt way too easy relax. And your right unlike Golson whose juked the whole Michigan team, Denard has never left a domer searching for his jock.

Thanks. Our dline is one huge "?" also but where I have faith, and some homerism, is our biggest coaching strength is dline. It was really impressive how the D did in yr 1 of a new system also, so having another year (full offseason) under the scheme will help too. Any true freshman you think will make an impact? I'm psyched about joe bolden adding to our LB crew. I really think that if he doesnt take over as a starter, he will be on the field as much as anyone with rotations. The sky is the limit for him, and enrolling early was huge. Due to lack of depth, I think ondre pipkins will be steadily rotating in. Kid is a beast, and I believe will see the field a lot this year.

Wow it's unbelievable they decided to pick Denard Robinson for sport science. They are really reachin'.

Don't they know that after Michigan he will never be heard from again? No wonder he came back for his senior year.
