Wow, this thread went south quick, I had to bypass the last few pages because I couldnt take anymore of the talent>heart or heart>talent spewage anymore. So sorry if this has been covered. It always has, and always will take both. Theres no exact science to it, every game is different, every team is different. Some days, our talent will pull out a win, some days a win could be influenced a little more by heart. Now this being a uofm/nd football thread (not talent vs heart), nd fans, what is your greatest strength, and greatest weakness heading into this season? I'll say our greatest strength is returning our back 7 on defense, and our biggest weakness is oline, moreso because of lack of depth, but also replacing starters and guys changing position.

Our greatest strengths on offense will be the o-line, RB's and TE's-weaknesses will be QB's (inexperience) WR's will be OK. I think Golson will start with Hendrix as the backup.
Defense will be the front 7-we have a lot of depth here even with losing Aaron Lynch. CB's will be a weakness (inexperience and depth) S's will be OK.
We have a top 25 team, we just had a severe case of the Tommy the Turn Over Machine Rees disease last season.michagain

Wow it's unbelievable they decided to pick Denard Robinson for sport science. They are really reachin'.
Don't they know that after Michigan he will never be heard from again? No wonder he came back for his senior year.

Don't be a hater. It was no where near 50/50 on his completed passes. Good thing though he was a better passer than Braxton Miller last year.
