Florida and Oklahoma were ranked in the preseason top 15 in 2010. You asked when the last time FSU did this, not the outcome of the games or the season. Look I have no problem with VT....except for the fans doing the Hokie Pokie . I actually am impressed with how well Beamer manages to do with the talent that he has. Hmmm I am not wording that correctly. I am impressed that he can evaluate talent like he does. He takes three stars and makes them into players. You however have to agree that the lack of success VT has had against ranked opponents has been underwhelming.

Oh no doubt, and I voice that all the time, but we will never have success against the truly elite teams until we can recruit better, especially in the trenches. Im just not sure why VTs the only school whose record against the top 5 is brought up, not many schools have good records against the top 5.
