We also had another week of good indicators including lower weekly unemplyment claims, higher inventories, and consumer sentiment is accelerating. Equity markets are reacting negatively to...you guessed it...the fiscal cliff, not the economy as a whole.

Sure, except in modern times when R's do its the top story for weeks with calls to prosecute for crimes. When D's do it most of the major media outlets tell everyone to move along, nothing to see here.

The only thing that bothers me is the regular defenders of the left on this board seem to be taking that approach as well. It's all about rainbows and unicorns but when it really comes down to it, they just want their side to win regardless of who gets stepped on and refuse to admit it.

I'd be pretty surprised if Hillary won. If there is one thing Americans hate, it's old ugly chicks.

Also, that bama kid is still in school. He walks the party line like a good little soldier. No sense in arguing with a guy that has little life experience, no professional experience, and has yet to even complete the top half of his resume labeled "education". He's not a tax payer (I don't consider part time jobs much of anything) so when the day comes for him to contribute to society, he may think about things a bit differently.
