O8 Florida vs USC

UF for sure
we were pretty sick on both sides of the ball no weak spots really
good amount of kids i think will ballin for yrs in the league too haden, harvin, pouncey's, hernandez, spikes, jenkins
other good players too neslon, murphy, tebow, wright, dunlap

This should have been the matchup. UF was sick nasty though, I think they would have won a close one.

Define "should". Based on the pre-Bowl resumes, why would Florida have jumped OU in the standings? And then, why would USC have jumped OU, Texas, and 'Bama?

Everyone knew these were the two best teams going into the bowl season, rankings aside. Thank goodness we are moving toward a playoff.

If "everyone knew" USC was one of the two best teams, why did the voters in the AP and the Harris voters put USC behind OU, Texas, and Alabama? Why did he Coaches put USC behind OU and Texas?

A 4 game playoff would have been very interesting to see. Oklahoma vs Alabama and then Texas vs Florida. Two BIG 12-SEC match ups that would have given a great preview to the championship game. However, I still think Florida comes out on top in this scenario.
