****OFFICIAL Iron Bowl Game Thread/Thanksgiving leftover thread

  • Can Aubbie pull of a miracle? Get your trash talk in now, fellas.

    Just made a great concoction though. Got my leftover Turkey.. made some rice and gravy.. Cut some of the turkey into little pieces... Put the bits of Turkey over the rice and poured the gravy all over rice n turkey.. Smothered turkey over rice with some green beans and a roll... Om nom nom nom fvvvck yeah.

    They played us tough.. With the way the fans are acting, I wonder if the Bama players will come out not fired up or come out flat.

    It might be one of those games where Bama comes out very flat, Auburn gets an early score to take the lead.. Then wakes up the sleeping Giant and Bama rolls. Just feels like Bama won't get off to a good start, IMO.

  • I would be surprised if Auburn scores a single point on offense against our 1st string defense. They are simply terrible on offense. Last year, they scored on a fumble in the end zone and a KO return. It will likely get ugly. Oregon and K. State losing last week was really bad news for GT and AU this weekend.

    Don't see it happening now that we've been given a second chance. Just because the fans are flat, I don't see the team thinking the same way. We don't have the SEC West wrapped up yet, and you can damn well bet that Saban isn't going to let them lose to AU again at home.

    You might be right and I know the fans have no bearing on the team but Auburn is so bad this season, UGA/SECCG game is next weekend.... You never know.

    I could be completely off base here but I still think Bama comes out a little flat in the 1st quarter.. Then rolls after a wake up call.

    You could be right. It typically takes us a possession or two to get in the groove of things anyway. I just hope that we kick off to AU to start the game. We absolutely suck on the first possession if we take the ball first.

    Edit: Fvck!!!!! Do I really have to listen to Lundquist and Daniels for this game again? I would put the over/under on Lundquist mistakes on names at about 20 and mentions of Tebow by Daniels at about 7.

  • The whole CBS operation sucks and that includes their pregame game show with Tim Brando. I dont even watch the pregame show, because I simply cant tolerate Brando going to back to his ESPN days. I would rather break my tv into a million pieces than listem to him

  • well as kick off approaches, i have no hope for this game...we will get rape stomped and embarrassed possibly worse than 2008 but i do have hope for the future and hopefully whatever direction we go in with the next coach, they will bring back some kind of pride and hard nosed football.
