Michigan has to play OSU every year ND doesn't.

I still believe if Denard doesn't get injured vs Nebraska, we win that game.

Saying that, Michigan would have also gone undefeated with OSU's schedule. Their 12-0 was about as impressive as Case Keenum and Houston's was.

I just looked up their schedule for this upcoming season and just....wow.

If OSU isn't in the title game this season I might have to lol.

I'm just trying to say OSU isn't in the same class as the teams in the OP. If you look at their schedule this past year, they barely beat a lot of nobodies.

Against UCF - OSU eventually pulled away, but that was still a game in the 4th quarter.
Against Cal - Only won by a TD
Against UAB - Same deal as UCF
Against MSU - Only beat them by one point (but Michigan barely beat them as well, so shrug
Against Indiana - Only won by 3 points. Against Indiana blank
Against Purdue - Purdue took them to OT.. They were lucky to win that game.
Against Wisc - Another OT game.
And then of course they beat us by 5 points.

I'm just trying to say even though they went 12-0, which fwiw is very impressive for any team, that if you look closely it isn't like they played any great teams to get that 12-0.

I'm fully expecting them to come into Ann Arbor at 10-1 or 11-0.

Better chance than ND with Alabama LSU and Florida in your conference?

And don't you guys play Stanford, USC, and a big OOC game every year?

    Yea...Better chance.

It was basically the same as our 11-2 season. Good at the time, but not overly impressive. Last year I believe osu was slightly better than MIchigan and combined with their home field advantage the game went about as expected. This year with Hoke in year three and an easier schedule than last year, it should be good. Nebraska and osu also have pretty easy schedules so luckily we get them both at home.

I'm not worried about Michigan at all. We got Oklahoma, Arizona State in Dallas Cowboys stadium and USC.

You could say the same for the 2002 NC team. A lot of close games but was able to beat Miami for the NC.

If Denard (ND killer) was coming back I'd be a little more worried but Michigan has Gardner starting this season.

That is true, good point. Although I don't think anybody thinks you guys would have beaten Bama this year.

I realize people also said you wouldn't beat Miami, but come on. The 2002 Buckeye team had a lot more talent than this years 2012 OSU team.

I know technically you could still say Gardner is unproven, but he looked mightily impressive in the time he started.

60% completion and a better than 2:1 ratio of TD:Ints with less than adequate preparation at the QB position.

Gardner is no slouch, and if you aren't worried about him.. Well, you will be soon enough wink_msu

It's going to be a big game as it always is, but I'm not really worried like I will be when we play Arizona State in Shamrock Series, Oklahoma, or USC.

How are you more worried about Arizona State at a neutral field, Oklahoma at home, and USC at home?
