It's weird I can't really explain it. Like I said I'm just not sold on Hoke yet. Or Gardner. Plus I found out recently Hoke doesn't even call any plays? What's up with that?

They haven't beat USC in South Bend since the 90's I think. Oklahoma will have a solid squad and more than capable of beating ND in South Bend, but ASU is a head scratcher even on a neutral field. If ND is more worried about that game than the Michigan one, either ND will suck or Michigan will suck.

This is a post from my fellow Michigan fan Mitch Again explaining Hoke without a headset:
"There's someone wearing a headset who stands next to him the entire game. I think it's an assistant. I know that sounds a bit ambiguous and unpersuasive, but he literally has someone whose job is to shadow him with a headset and he gets whatever message he wants across at all times. Hoke is not going to call every offensive play. How many head coaches do? But when Hoke wants something specific, he picks up the headset and states his point. When a coach needs Hoke, he's an arms-reach away from the headset. If it's something small, his shadower relays the message. Then for the majority of the time Hoke is not needed on the headset, he is not being distracted and focuses on the on-field activities."

He does if it is towards the end of the game and feels like he needs to input. He focuses mostly on defense and talking to Mattison.

Everyone is going to be real disappointed when Texas A&M takes it...they are definitely a contender and certainly hurting Texas's recruiting a lot. Not an A&M fan at all but it's a realistic thought...

They could be pretty good as well. They will be in good shape if they can get past the Alabama game, but I really don't see them getting lucky against them again.

The ASU game will be at Cowboys stadium for Shamrock Series. It just seems like a bigger game to me than the Michigan game. Not saying Michigan won't be a huge game. Although the Michigan game always seems to be a nail biter over the years and always goes down to the wire no matter what so maybe I'm just a little desensitized to it. Still a big game though.

Ahh, I get you. ASU is a bigger game because it's part of the Shamrock Series and it's being played at Cowboys Stadium. Not because they're a tougher opponent than Michigan. Right?

Pretty much. Michigan is obviously the tougher opponent. The ASU game I'm more excited about the venue. And to see which type of jerseys we'll be wearing this year for it. Although I should be more excited about the Michigan game because we'll only be playing each other for a couple more seasons.
