  • I can't believe the show got canceled. I am re watching the series on Netflix and it just pains me that it only went 3 seasons.

    At an reunion event on Sunday, Mr. Hurwitz said he was planning 9 or 10 episodes of a television series that would reintroduce the show's characters and lead into a possible film.

    Ya since air time is based on viewership rather than show quality some of the best shows don't make it more than a few seasons at best. More viewers equals more people watching ads which pays for the shows.

  • It also didn't really get cancelled, it was just hard to keep making the show when most of the cast went on to bigger things

    I'd always heard that it was cancelled. The show aired when I was like 13, so I'd always just assumed that was the truth. As I look back, there was an all star cast, so scheduling conflicts certainly make sense.

    Yeah I mean it was cancelled... just saying not cause of lack of viewers or being a crappy show

    Just couldn't really keep it going, I don't really remember though

    I just remember during that time Jason Bateman's career really took off as did what's his name ? the oldest brother that was in Brothers Soloman

    It was lack of viewers, that was one of the running jokes of the show.
