Largest FA contract EVER given out by Atlanta. Is Upton really worth that? I'm glad we are signing someone, and I actually think Upton is a decent pickup, but why not spend a little more and get Hamilton? Unless they knew he wouldn't come or was going to cost a lot more.
So is Bourne gone then?

Mountie you're crazy. We don't come into a Reds thread and bash your players. He has a ton more upside than your man Bruce. But I hate this pickup by the Braves. Upton has a ton of power but strikes out way too much for my liking. He seems to be a selfish player that wouldn't be good in that clubhouse. Dude has crazy good skills in the outfield though. The jury is out til the season starts. Hope I'm wrong
