Atheists are very butthurt for some reason. They act educated, but are the most myopic group of people I have ever seen.

    No.

Serious question - How do you believe the universe was created? Do you believe the Big Bang started everything, then millions of years later Earth came to be, and since then organisms have evolved into what they are today, including humans?

Just because people don't believe in Christianity it doesn't mean they are atheists. Southern Baptists are the biggest hypocrites in the world.

  • I believe in evolution and find creationism irrational. That being said, I don't care if people have that belief. I have more curiosity towards the origins of the universe, more so than Earth and humanity.

I'm with ya on this. The universe and space just amaze me.

Yes, they do have that right. I also have the right to mock them for believing something so stupid.

Not on this board you don't... Number 2.

If you don't want to discuss the topic without attacking other posters you can not post in this topic. Let them have a discussion no need to get personal with it. Respect their opinions and same goes for them. If you disagree that is fine but attacking other posters is not.

Dinosaurs were the original inhabitants of earth. We arrived via alien space ship with a piece of their DNA to further the alien race that brought us here.

Mark it down. The truth will be known one day and this is it.

Actually if the "alien space ship" was an asteroid there's growing evidence to suggest that the building blocks of life might have been "brought" to earth.

DNA components made in asteroids, study suggests - Technology & Science - CBC News

DNA building blocks found on meteorites are providing more evidence that chemistry in space generated the ingredients for life on Earth.

That's how it starts. If you don't want to have a discussion about it leave. If you do be respectful and don't flame. I would consider flaming someone would be calling their beliefs stupid.

    Fair enough.

I was just making a point. Just thought it was interesting that those who don't believe in Creation are always the first to berate the Jesus lovers.

I do hate Tebow. He's a freaking douche! Brian Dawkins was one of the most religious NFL players in recent years; yet you wouldn't know that because he doesn't go parading around like douchebag Tebow.

    It's cool.

I can give you insight from my perspective when I get involved in religious belief threads. For me, I struggle with "believing". When I ask a Christian questions about why they believe this or that, it is usually because I am searching for an explanation that will help me with my own beliefs. My brain won't let me ignore some the evidence available, so I usually want better explanations than "Faith". It often comes across as trolling or flaming, but I am USUALLY being genuine.

I stress "usually" because sometimes I AM just trolling.

Non-believers can be vocal douchebags too. You should be careful to not be one yourself.

Ok I will say this....When someone, and it is up to that person, can't wait for God to do it, Opens his heart and really knows that their is a God. Thats when you "know". It absolutely is Faith, but your heart sees things in a different light than when you are struggling with acceptance.

Last time I checked tebow wasn't breaking any laws. So you are critical of how he chooses to live his life?

Christianity is one of the toughest things in the world to grasp. And I question it all of the time. It's a complete blind faith, and I always wonder how I got blessed to fall into the "right" religion when there are thousands of them across the planet. I could write a novel on all of the questions I have.
