Ok. First off, not sure what you consider "decent prices." But, here's some info.

If you're looking for a sandwich, you're only a few blocks from Reading Terminal (a cool indoor market) and you can get "Dinic's" in there. Their roast pork with provolone and broccoli rabe was given the "best sandwich in America" award from the man vs. food guy. It's pretty damn good and costs about 9 bucks. The line will be a little while if you go during lunch.

If you want a cheesesteak, you can go to pretty much anywhere in the city. Near the liberty bell you can find a place called "Sonny's" that makes a very good cheesesteak (probably a 15ish minute walk from your hotel). Also, Jim's isn't too far (prob 25 mins from your hotel) and you can see South Street if you head there (popular street, especially for nightlife). I'd suggest ordering it with cheese whiz and fried onions (say "whiz wit" if you want that). Jim's is cash only, just an fyi. If you've heard of Geno's/Pat's, I'd actually avoid them. They're far from you and their cheesesteaks aren't great, just well known.

If you want a sit down restaurant, there are plenty. There are a bunch of upscale steakhouses/restaurants within a few blocks, but they'll be pretty expensive (40-50 for just the steak). Good food, but probably not decent priced.

A couple places near you have pretty great beer selections and decent food prices. Monk's Cafe is probably a 5-10 minute walk with great beer and decent food. Some of the food is a bit obscure, but the website should tell you if you'd eat there beforehand. They have burgers and sandwiches as well, so you probably will like a few things on the menu. A place called Nodding Head is close to you and they make their own beers. They'll let you sample them before ordering as well. Food is decent. Prices are fair, two beers and a sandwich will probably end up being 20-25 bucks. Tria is a little cafe if you want a quick sandwich and decent beers. Probably similarly priced to the others. There are plenty more (Philly is always ranked one of the best beer cities).

You're near Chinatown if that's your thing as well. Decent Pho and Ramen if you're into that at a few places. You're kinda far from the good Italian food, but it's near South Street if you get out there. Let me know if you want more info on that area.

For real quick, standard food, there's a food court about two blocks away at the "Bellevue" or in the Comcast building (Comcast building is pretty cool in general). I'm sure the hotel can show you where those are, and they'll give you a bunch of food court type choices.

Could also hit up Federal Donuts (there's a new location in Center City). A place that specializes in fried chicken and donuts. Although, if you're coming from the south, the fried chicken probably won't be as good as you get down there. Never had southern fried chicken, but I'd imagine this won't be quite as good.

You're probably 15-20 minutes from the liberty bell (or a quick, couple minute cab ride). You're right next to "love park" with the famous "Love" sign. From there, you can see the art museum (although it's about a 15 minute walk). That's where the "Rocky steps" are. You'll see people run up those all the time pretending to be Rocky. You're a subway ride away from the stadiums (all big 4 sports play in 3 stadiums all within a couple hundred feet). It will be dead if there's no games on, but could be cool if there is a game going on. There's a pretty cool little bar/restaurant area there called "Xfinity live."
