Do you think having a degree helped you find a better job? A lot of people I talk to that make the hiring desicions say they just like to see that someone has a 4 year degree because it shows they finish things they start, so I'm wondering if my degree would do the same. I feel as if people may look at my degree and call it a joke even though P.E. is something I'm interested in.

But it's a helluva fun major. I know there's a couple of PE teachers in Ohio making about 80,000 right now because they've revolutionized the profession, and OSU is top 2 in the nation as they switch with Texas every year, so it's respected nationally. But it's unlikely I'll be making near 80 grand.

Are you talking about high school?
My mom was a PE teacher for 35 years. She had a masters in 20 of it. She has so many awards hanging in her office (she consults now), it's silly...and she topped out at 50K a year.
IF they're makeing 80K, it's because they're coaching something...not because they revolutionized the profession. There is very little to revolutionize because there is no damn money (hence the salary in question)
EDIT: Majors aren't supposed to be "fun". I majored in Biochem and survived from Vandy/Lipscomb with a 3.2 and busted my ass to do so.
