CE was very good, but yes they have noobed up some parts of the game. HOWEVER MLG, and other game types will be very good IMO

I can't wait! If this game sucks like reach, I'm putting it in the microwave for 45 minutes. I don't understand why they tried to add all of this gay shit to halo. They turned it into call of duty in year 5750. I hope it's like halo 2

I think it's good they're adding and tweaking some things. Keeps it fresh. Plus, isn't the biggest fault we all have with CoD that they NEVER change anything?

I haven't preordered it yet (lol @ me) but luckily on my side of town there are proportionally too many stores and not enough people, so I've yet to have any problems with late preorders. That said, regular copy of Halo 4 or LE?

Best ......Game........Ever.

I've been watching the roommates play a few games of multiplayer. Here's what I've seen.

1. The game comes with 2 discs. However, you install the 2nd disc to your hard drive, then go back to the 1st disc where you can access everything in the game. That's convenient. I hate switching discs all the time.

2. Multiplayer gameplay is great so far. Overall the maps are much more open than they were in Reach, which tended to make everything an AR/melee battle. Map design is good from what I've seen. Weapons seem fairly balanced, maybe but a couple small exceptions, namely with sprint (always accessible) and vehicles. Grenades were toned down, as they needed to be. Melee system looks like the Halo 3 system, not Reach's.
Killing sprees result in an ordinance drop (you'll have 3 choices). All of the choices are fairly well balanced in that they don't give you a ridiculous advantage, but do make a good player feel like he's being rewarded.

3. A lot of customization options. You can set your own loadouts once you get to certain ranks, including your starting weapon (looks like pistol, AR, DMR, BR) and maybe an armor ability, I don't know. But once you get into a game, the gameplay feels more simple than all the options behind it.

4. Haven't seen any of the Campaign yet. The soundtrack is decent though. Not the same as the first 3, but you can still kind of pick out the classic Halo theme from it.

I'll probably be picking this game up tomorrow. If you're a fan of the first 3 games especially, I'd recommend it.
