Bumping this.
Last night played the first mission and 2 matches of slayer. Must say the graphics are amazing. The DMR is pretty sweet too. Gonna buy the BR tonight and give that a shot. Really really enjoyed the game and I can see myself working towards SR-130.

The BR isn't completely useless, but the DMR and even the Covenant Carbine (actually possibly the best) are just so much better. BR works pretty well in short to medium range fights, but is worhtless past that.

I am now at the MAX SR32. Daily XP lmits have held me down as I have reached them both days. But the BR is really good, yes the DMR is better long distance, but I have easily killed people from a distance with either. Hopefully I can get to the daily XP limit tonight
