As opposed to some jobless bum who wants a handout ?

It's not an either/or. The massive income inequality in this country is taking money out of everyone's pockets and putting it into the bank accounts of a very select few.

In saying that, may I ask who you will be voting for come November ?

    Just curious. (seriously, no flame)

As of right now I really don't know. I'm waiting to see some debates and to read some stuff on their views on issues.

I haven't been paying attention to anything right now. If I had to vote tomorrow, it would be for Obama.

Unfortunately I think a lot of people vote based purely on party. They don't care what the person says, so long as theyre of the same party.

I consider myself a democrat, but I'm open to whoever I feel has the best views for our future.

This is how I feel, just on the other side of the fence.

I'm a registered republican, but my party has been hijacked by Tea Party radicals. It's disturbing.

You're not answering the questions. I wonder why.

Do I believe everything he says? no

Do I think Romney is better for this country than this guy, who knows nothing about business? hell yeah.

You might as well say that, lol. I really can't stand politics and I'm sick of hearing both sides. It's impossible who's telling the truth and who's lying.

Our economy won't fix itself in 4 years, I know that much.

Oh, I'm sorry, did you want me to run through the entire racist history of the South?

How about Emmitt Till? Or, if that's too old for you, how about:

The Ku Klux Klan marching in Atlanta in 2010?

The murder of James Craig Anderson?

    Alabama passing HB56?

    The Jena Six?

An interracial couple being denied a marriage certificate in Louisiana?

    Need I go on?

That's because people don't take ownership into their own problems anymore. They are too quick to make excuses, shift the blame or ask for handouts. Personally I could care less what Mitt Romney does as long as it is legal. The whole concept of spread the wealth is the 2nd dumbest idea in our nations history... falling just behind slavery.

So if you couldn't care less about what Mitt Romney (or any other rich person, for that matter) does, then you don't care that his actions are costing you money? You don't care if he is essentially taking money out of your pocket?

I am not saying the south isn't filled with bigotry, it is and it pisses me off. However, I moved to New England four years ago and quickly learned that the south is definitely NOT the most racist region in the nation. I witness more blatant racism now than I did over 25 years living in the southeast.

    Dude, it's not about race.

The southern states are probably the least racist states in the nation... go to NYC, DC, BOS, SF, SEA, DET....

We don't care about that BS... that's why we joke about it so much.

I live in alabama and love the place....but lets be real here. I have heard coworkers whispering N bombs all the time in reference to obama.

I don't really give a fvck, but lets at least be real about it. Some black people will vote for him because of race and some whites will vote against him because of race.

You love Obama, yes or no? His Hope and Change was filled with lies, yes or yes?

Thought so... get outta here with that bs.

I like Obama. I never said he has never lied.

The point is if Obama's next big speech is filled with lies (and not lies where people disagree due to party lines -- but outright lies about who voted for what, who was responsible for what - as in someone being responsible for a plant shutting down when it happened before said-someone was even in office) I will say it. I won't be like OH GREAT SPEECH RAH RAH RAH.

For some reason, you can't have honest conversation about politics. People treat it like it's their football team, and I think that's the definition of stupidity. Politicians are not your school or your team. There should be no homers about politicians.

Congratulations, you did what you should've done as a human being. Would you like a pat on the back for that?

Besides, I never said you were racist, just that the South, as a whole, has a long and storied racist history that continues well into the present day.

It's hard to have discussions with republicans. They will cry forever about obama's spending and gladly vote romney who will also have a trillion deficit because he wont change anything

Please tell me what changes obama made in budget that increased the deficit so much.
