  • What do you guys think if this show. I enjoy the historical aspect of it regarding the artifacts but the main guys laugh annoys me.

  • Love the show. Love the history. Hate that some seems staged ie, the hot air balloon.

I watched every episode on Netflix earlier this year. Could not stop.

  • Next time you're in Vegas, stop by the shop. I did last time I went and it was pretty cool. Recognized a lot of stuff from the show and they let me hold the Patriot's Superbowl ring (100k price tag).

    GO NOLES!

  • I have seen almost every show. It is easy to get hooked into it. I can almost gaurantee Rick is a 2 pack a day guy. 2 things that annoy me are; with whatever they make for doing this Chumlee may pull in more than I do and the negotiation is way too pedictable. Customer says I want this much and Rick/old man says something sly related to "your dreaming". Then low balls. Back and forth for a bit and ends with them repeating the same offer a couple of times.

  • I love the show and the history behind the items keeps me hooked. Yes everyone knows how the negotiations are going to go but the story behind each piece is pretty cool.

  • Little known fact. The show was conceived, pitched and financed by Rick Harrison. He owns all the rights to Pawn Stars and his other show American Restoration.

He was a millionaire before the show now he's just filthy rich. BTW Chum drives a Maserati.

If that's true then Rick is a good businessman he saw an untapped market and took advange of it. I'm not totally sold on American Restoration yet. Most of the time the final product is so overpriced due to his labor cost it's not a fair respresentation of the value of the item.

The kind of stuff he does on AR is what guys with F-U money buy with pocket change. There are stores in Vegas filled with that stuff for high rollers to buy if they're on a heater. It's value is really skewed.
