OT- Question for the Blue Board Old Guys

  • The guys 28+. Do you find yourself wearing khakis or jeans more when not at work? Not like khaki shorts in the Summer, but when it's cold, like now. It's weird, I can't remember the last time I wore jeans not cleaning a boat or something. It's just habit now I guess.

  • I live in the north so now, when I come home from work, I put on my fleece pants and flannel shirt. My kids are thoroughly embarrassed which means I have achieved success.

    It depends. If Im at home i take off everything and just wear basketball shorts and a tee shirt. If my wife and i go out to eat i might wear khaki pants or some nice faded jeans with a nice shirt. Most of my shorts are different color khaki cargo or carpenter shorts. In Mississippi it doesn't get really cold so i find myself wearing shorts in every month of the wear.

    My work requires, button down long sleeve and dress pants, and i tend to use shorts at gym, so i find myself preferring jeans in the off time

  • I will wear jeans if I go for a beer at the pub. Dress code at work - can wear jeans on Fridays though.

    I do wear under armour thermals in the winter a lot up north late fall/winter under pants. The wind goes right through khakis and suit pants.
