    We can't affect the climate. We haven't and we won't. The OP is right though. It is irreversible. It always has been. If you want to know more, go to some renewable energy conferences and listen in on some discussions during the receptions. You'll hear the same guys delivering keynote presentations joking about the fallacy of global warming. I've seen/heard it countless times. Climate change is a joke.

    Global warming is climate change. They are the same and they are both naturally occurring. The earth warmed for a bit and now it is cooling and neither have anything to do with what we humans have done.
