OT- UFC 144 Edgar vs. Henderson

  • Rampage needs to hang it up. He was in the worst shape of his fighting life.

    Henderson is going o have the belt for awhile, and I can't believe Edgar thought he won. Im an Edgar fan, and I can say he clearly lost. Can't wait for Pettis vs Henderson.

    My brother and I are Edgar fans, so take this with a grain of salt, but we thought Edgar won. Either way it was a great fight.

    That's the worst physical shape I've ever seen Rampage in. That's pathetic.

    I thought Edgar won as well 48-47. Thought he landed more and got more take downs.

    And Pettis can definitely beat Henderson, hell he did it already. He will probably get next shot.

    Edgar would get a takedown, but he never did a single thing with those takedowns. When Henderson got his takedowns he did some damage. He didn't have as many takedowns as Edgar, but at least he did damage when he got the takedowns instead of just letting him back up like Edgar was doing.

    Damage. That is what won Henderson the fight. Henderson didn't have a scrape on him. Hell, it didn't even look like he was just in a fight. Edgar? Bloody mess with a broken nose that took heavy shots all fight long. Henderson won that fight. I would agree with the judge that had it 48-47 for Henderson. 49-46 seems a little off to me.

    Were you the one that thought Diaz beat Condit as well?

  • I think they could do a better job of scoring MMA fights. I don't have any suggestions but I think they could have a better system.

    The three things on this planet I hate the most are the Yankees, Notre Dame, and Michael Bisping, but Bisping dominated Chael Sonnen. In fact I turned it off before they announced the decision because I was pissed; I had no idea Sonnen won until my brother called me. I didn't see last night's fights so I can't comment, but there have been some "questionable" decision to say the least.

    I agree there have been. I 100% believe that Henderson beat Edgar, and Condit beat Diaz. Those are the latest fights that caused a stir, but MOST people agreed with the judges in those two fights according to multiple websites and Dana White himself.

  • They need to use some sort of combination of wrestling/grappling scoring for the ground where the ref scores it, with wrestling scoring the basis... 2 points takedown, 1 point escape, etc

    Then they need compustrike along with the judges
