OT help things to do in San Diego.

Going there with my girl friend for 4 nights 5 days. What are the good beaches, decent hang out spots, ideas for food. Figured we could go to the zoo one day. Any other ideas?

It depends one what yall wanta do... Seaworld is cool... Cornado island is nice good eats, nice beach kinda pricey...pacific beach is like a college beach... Ocean beach...kinda hippie... Laholla beach is nice... Take a kayak cave tour...old town has some real good mexican food...
Ok now places to eat.. Mortans is the best steak house in town...not even close but ur gonna spend a couple hund... Tomhams light house has amazing view of downtown... Its a panty dropper... There are tons of clubs if you are into that... If you have any specific questions let me know...

Pacific Beach Hit the bars there. Cool college atmosphere. One of my favorite pizza joint is there call hoboken
Ocean Beach get you a burger at Hodads
Lajolla nice place to walk around kayak.
Go get you some real mexican at a taco shop. Robertos/Santana's is good. Get you a california burritto/In n Out.
Go downtown for night time fun one of my favorite restaurant is a tapas place call savilla!
There are some good roof top bars to check out.

have to go to coronado beach yahoo had it as the number 2 beach in the nation. have to go to downtown, pacific beach, la jolla man there is so much dude just come over here to SD and trust me you will fall in love with most of the places you go

They do have the best Zoo in America.... Your girl would probably enjoy that.
