I'm actually shocked that everyone thinks that Obama is going to win without question right now.

Maybe I'm looking through Red Colored glasses (I'm libertarian, but will vote GOP for POTUS this year), but I would not bet $1 on Obama right now. I really think once the nomination process is over and the GOP is not firing darts at each other, the nominee will get a bump. Similarly, with the choices set, there will be more of a focus on Obama's record and policies. Regardless of your politics, you have to understand that his record is not viewed favorably by the majority of Americans.

Romney - mild enough to get many of the moderate/independents, but will he be conservative enough to bring out Tea Party/conservative vote (I say yes, but more due to dislike of Obama).

Santorum - ??? He'd need to do well in the debates vs Obama.

Gingrich - A lot of baggage, but I think his utter domination of Obama during debates would lead to him in the WH. Like him or not, the dude is hella' smart (all these guys and Obama are, but Newt is on a different level).

I really think that Obama's only hope is that the TP/conservatives aren't happy with the nominee and you have a 3rd party guy to split the vote. You also have to factor in the Healthcare decision by the SC that will likely happen before the election. If they throw Obamacare out, that really hurts Obama as that is his crowning achievement. If you like it, you are disheartened and less likely to get out to vote. If you don't like it, you're going to pull the lever for anyone but Obama. If the SC upholds it, it will be a boost for Obama.

I prefer other people to not vote. Did you know in the time it takes to vote you could play 3 games of pool?

all of those sons a guns down here in Tennessee - saying that they are not going to get the vote out again like last time - too many promises made - broken over the last 3.5 yrs

love the abortion issue , glad we can get all of these issues on the table so we know what these guys are all about
