The new bill simply was to get in accordance with a treaty that was already signed and ratified years ago. I understand the supremacy clause was answered previously, which is why I'm knocking stare decisis because I disagree with those decisions. I think this goes right back to the clause, because you shouldn't have to have a bill to be in accordance with a treaty you agreed with anyway.

You still overlook that you cannot have a treaty that takes away powers enumerated to the states.
I am still waiting for a basis as to why those decisions are incorrect.
Those decisions have stated that the constitution gives powers to the states.,Ruling otherwise, that a treaty can be made to override those powers, takes away powers given to the states and therefore is not valid against the states.

Read the opinion, because you know...I had other things going before I read this thread believe it or not.
Questions for you all...
1. What about prewithdrawl obligations?
2. Again, why does a state not have to inform a citizen of another country about it's legal rights under international treaty's signed by the government it's under?
3. What happens if an American is in the same situation? Should they not be afforded these rights?
4. The conviction was 16 years ago, yet the execution can't wait two months to make sure it's in accordance with an international treaty we signed?

Liberal playbook: can't argue with precedent and legal jurisprudence, resort to calling someone racist.
Fact is a man paid the price for raping and stabbing a sharp object into a 16 year-olds vagina before bashing her skull in with a 30 lbs chunk of asphalt. The mentally sane people of the SCOTUS provided a clear and coherent legal opinion based on common law precedent established by prior courts. They refused to make legal rulings based on majestic laws or hypothetical legislation that doesn't exist.
