Taxes don't create jobs in the private sector. Never have, never will. And Romney isn't gong to raise taxes on anyone. Once again the democrats are lying.

Well, how do we create more minimum wage jobs, get the cost of gas down, and lower health care costs? These are the three main causes of our current economic conundrum. I thought Romeny had a fix.

    stirWell said.
Obama and Romney,Democrats and Republicans both represent Wall Street. They are the arm of WS. This crisis was caused by WS bankers. The 3trillion bail out was acomplised by bypartison cooperation. A theft of the American people's hard earned sweat and blood. I want to puch in the mouth the next democrat that tells me the republicans are worse. Im not voting for either one as neither represent my class interest. Oh,and f...k the "middle class",to a dem thats people making 75k to 500K.

Government debt has increased by $6 trillion ... yes, $6 trillion ... since Obama has taken office and he doesn't even seem to think it's a problem.

Bro 4-5 Trillion of that is spending that was approved under Bush or is interest on the current debt.

Obama has only contributed 1-1.5 trillion of that debt. Seeing as that spending stopped a depression and saved the auto industry, I'd say it was money well spent.

He's just gonna cut taxes for the very rich while drastically cutting government services.

Basically you'll pay what you pay now, except there will be less government services and our schools will suffer. Yippee.

This post couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

The Bush comment it complete and total bull****. We are running annual deficits well in excess of $1-trillion a year. That means that each year that Obama has been president we have spent over a $1trillion dollars more than we have taken in. That's not Bush that's Obama.

BTW we cover our interest every year, I don't believe much or any of it accrues year-to-year, it's the principle that has gone up.

    Your welcome.

Schools don't need more money they need restructuring.

And we are going to have to pay more for less soon anyway, because we have to pay our debt and eventually balance our budget. Besides many government "services" aren't worth having anyway.

Actually, since taking office, Obama has lowered the deficit from its all-time high of $1.413 trillion under Bush. Bush was the one who raised our deficit spending from $161 billion to $1.413 trillion.

But don't let facts get in the way of your argument or anything.

Programs don't start and stop with one administration. The tax cuts that Bush implemented are still in effect and a huge reason why the country is running in a deficit. Not to mention we are still involved in Afghanistan.

Never said Bush's weren't higher. I said Obama has had trillion+ deficits every year..which is true. So I didn't say anything incorrect at all. Nice try though you guys are going to have to accept that everything isn't Bush's fault.

Well Obama could always pull us out of Afghanistan, and true for the rest. But I could just as easily argue that a refusal to cut spending is why the deficits remain so high.

Don't speak sense to the political pawns on the right. George W. Bush is a Saint! His actions for eight years have NOTHING to do with where we are now as a country! It all happened in a vacuum and we're a better country today for having that Angel in the White House!

At least he got us out of Iraq (mostly anyways). That was George W's step #1 down the path of raping the economy.

I won't be voting for Obama. That's make that clear.

But I just find it hilarious how everyone blames him for the economy when George W. was the one that flushed it directly down the shitter while helping his cronies make fat stacks of cash.

Screw both of these guys. Obama and Romney. They are just more of the same: unacceptable.

Write down someone's name instead of "choosing" between these two dolts, people.

Please, for the love of God and Country, do NOT settle for less. Do NOT settle for either of these imbeciles.

Wow, this is stupid. When an assistant manager at WalMart makes roughly the same amount as the teacher teaching your child, there's a problem. Education needs a to be a HUGE priority of this country because kids these days are like Rain Man.

I would accept paying new teachers more but I don't see how paying the current ones more would do anything but reward a bad job. Until we can weed out the bad ones no current teachers need a pay raise.

BTW the US spends more money on education not only in real dollars but as a percentage of expenditures AND per-capita than any country on earth. So clearly lack of funds is not the problem, it's mismanagement of funds and terrible policies of dealing with bad students, and stupidity like tenure that is the problem. Not money, the money is there it just needs to be spent correctly.
