Obama just blew more smoke....

  • Obama is great. High gas prices have gotten poor people off the road in those smoke wagons and now there is less traffic. Thank you President Obama for putting the poor back to walking, now maybe they can lose some weight from all the food purchased with food stamps.

    There is nothing wrong with that. You can not support something and still use welfare in time of need. I'm a liberal and that's counterproductive.

    But you can't do that and disparage people on welfare as lazy people who don't want a job at the same time.

    If the same people complaining about tax increases would actually pay their taxes instead of spending half of what they would pay looking for loopholes, we wouldn't be in this mess.

    I say just get rid of income taxes, raise the sales and import taxes, and be done with it.

    Keep taxes low on food and essential goods and tax the hell out of the rest of it.

    There are too many people that would rather spend money on lawyers than help provide for their own country.

  • Hope gas prices go to five dollars a gallon, so maybe all those people from up north will stay home this summer. It gets crowded around my condo when a Republican is in the White House.

  • To suggest Rich people are all conservatives and Poor are all democrats is just incredibly dumb. 9 out of the top 10 richest US states were democrats last election.

    Check pretty much any other place in the world.

    Gas in Toronto is about 4.75 a gallon. Gas in Europe is even more expensive.

    Whining about 4 dollar gas is just loco.

    Again, the education level is not very high on the conservative side of things. They are really only good at a handful of things, most notably, watching people turn left in circles on Sunday.

    Agreed. That's why the numbers of Republicans with degrees is at an all-time high.

    More highly educated people (JD and PhD) do tend to lean Democrat though.

    Do you think there are more Republicans than Democrats that graduated from Vandy, Duke, and Northwestern? Doubt it.

    I used those 3 because they are in states that are either moderate or Republican, but I'm sure Ivy League schools are well more skewed.

Mitt is a extremely moderate pub posing as a severe conservative lol. On just about every major issue of the day he has switched positions lol. The guy is a phony and lightweight at that lol. Besides his Cayman Islands offshore banking accounts the only thing Mitt is really good at is losing elections lol.

    We will see, way to early to call and everything is looking up under President Obama. Food stamp enrollment, foreclosures, bankruptcies, unemployment, gas prices, and the poverty rate are all up. Thank you Dear Leader
