It didn't prove anything wrong that we were discussing. Most of the false claims were that it was a tax, not a fee passed on to consumers, even though the costs passed on are to avoid eating the costs that cell phone companies have to pay the Government. If you want to argue that gov't fees aren't taxes (like in Obamacare) several will disagree with you.

Your argument was that Obama giving out free shit and a woman on a video bragging about it have nothing to do with why they are called Obama phones. Are you saying that the line at the bottom about using Obama's name to sell a product is why I am wrong?

No, my reason was that the program tripled since he took office and the fraud amount in 2012 was more than the entire program amount when he took over. The video was an example of a woman bragging about getting a free phone and that everyone should support Obama because erbody in Cleveland got them.

Nobody was arguing about the program initiation or that Clinton and Bush both expanded it. The point is that is has tripled since 2008, with 41% not be qualified. Even the articles about people mad about it are saying it won't be scrapped, but rather it needs to be monitored and stop allowing so many people to get free phones that are paid for by people with jobs.
