Apparently you're entitled to have your tax dollars go to only programs that you like. You love your entitlements. Btw, you're such an unreasonable blow hard, you're going to make impossible for people with your point of view to ever win another national election. Its hilarious. You're probably not bright enough to figure that out though.

I find the give away gang so interesting,,,
I was at one time in my life one of these people who worked my butt off for less than $10 an hour...
There were many things (such as a cell phone ) I couldn't afford, so I didn't have one. I scrimped to afford health care. We worked very hard and only got what we could afford. I didn't begrudge others for what they had, nor did I expect them to pay a portion of mine.
I am no longer in that situation, far removed actually. I worked my way through school and fought my way up in my industry and now I am in a way better place.
I never had expectations of being entitled to anything yet now it seems so much of what I make is being taken and allocated to others because they are " entitled" ,,,My question is when did it change and why? Why is someone more entitled to a cell phone now than when I was trying to get to the point of being able to afford one?
What sense of accomplishment do people feel when given these things?
It used to be embarrassing to be on govt assistance and now it seems to be a badge of honor for some.Perhaps it is generational, I am about 40 years old,,,
Out of curiosity I wonder,,and understand if you don't care to disclose but what are the ages of those involved in the various sides of tis discussion.I think that may be enlightening as to the opinions,,,,or perhaps not.
I used together angry about this type thing,,,now I just find it fascinating.Jeff4SC ●

I'm disappointed. I was hoping for a "fact based" rebuttal on how paying for non-critical treatments for poor people actually saves us money. I'm sure you've read some really solid articles in the Atlantic to back this.
