Of course not, but it could serve the same purpose as raising taxes without doing it. The only way to put a dent in the deficit is to cut spending. I'd start with defense spending myself.
It's not taxing more. It's actually forcing people to pay the taxes they owe. Business owners create 10 different LLCs so that none of them make X amount to lower their tax rate, but if the LLCs were under the umbrella of one company, he would owe more in taxes. It's not like he is taking the money that he is saving and doing anything other than benefitting himself.
I am not for raising taxes. Owners want a certain margain after EBITA, not before. To get it, they'll cut somewhere else.

What state do you live in? In most states it is not illegal to decline section 8 renters.
Here in PA the state sends said rent directly to you. I had two rental properties before selling them off, I rented once to a person on section 8 & had no problem getting my monthly rent but then again the commonwealth sent it directly to me. But they did tear the place up pretty bad in two years, needless to say they did not get their security deposit.lestat

Also I'm not sure if it's mentioned here but the AAA credit rating Obama inherited has been dropped to AA-. It's the third time it's dropped under him.
http://www.cnbc.com/id/49037337
Ratings firm Egan-Jones cut its credit rating on the U.S. government to "AA-" from "AA," citing its opinion that quantitative easing from the Federal Reserve would hurt the U.S. economy and the country's credit quality.

Alabama...and she wasn't technically section 8. Kind of a fringe element I guess. Turns out, she didn't thing public housing or section 8 were good enough for her, and with her income, she almost qualified to buy the house. I got suckered (and the bank almost did). She didn't have a lot of credit either way, but the only judgement on record against her was something she could prove an ex husband caused. She had signed a promisory note to pay it off, and the bank told her that once that was done they'd loan her the money to buy this house. The bank talked to me about renting for 6 months first. She paid 1 months rent and quit. Her monthly income was over $4800. the rent was $850, and she got all kinds of free food and vouchers for her litter. Also found out later that she was parking in the back yard to prevent repo guys from finding her car. She freely told this to her neighbors. The funny part is she pulled the bumper off the car trying to tow it out of the septic tank. Only the back tires settled into it...would have been awesome if she'd gone all the way in. The sewage would have been offended by her presence.

On the contrary, I've seen you make some big strides in political threads here. You'll probably be a right-of-center independent by your late 20's. But yes, it is true more often then not that younger people tend to be "true believers" politically and we see a lot of that from you.

...which is still being incredibly dismissive of younger people, students in particular.
Besides, entering the "real world" doesn't magically imbue a person with some sense of how to live their life. There are boatloads of current students more prepared and capable of living lives in the real world than so very many people who have existed in the real world for many years.
