  • His whole tenure is an epic failure. EPIC, never been seen before, and not in a good way. For all the Bush bashing he has done, he incredibly has done far worse.

I just wonder if now that he is a second term President if anything will be his fault, or if Bush will be blamed for the entire eight years for everything bad that happens.

He's starting in a new direction. Now it's gun owners fault. Soon it will be all Americans. Doesn't matter with him, he will blame any and all as long as his name isn't one of them.

But yes, he has wore out Bushs name. Bush sucked, but Oblablah is so freeking much worse.

Fact: When Clinton left office the U.S had a 200 billion dollar surplus. When Bush left office the U.S was 1 trillion dollars in debt. Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of either president.

Facts are way off, the country has been in debt for decades, the Clinton (yearly) surpluses never came to fruition. When Clinton left office the country was like 5.73 trillion in debt, when Bush left office e were 10.6 trillion in debt, we are now 16.4+ in debt.

The debt at the end of Clinton's term was not all his by any means it had accumulated over decades. Bush added almost 5 trillion and Obama has added just over 5 trillion. They will forever be the two presidents that sent us down a fiscal path that we WON'T recover from.

Since you got the initial deficit math correct, lets think a little more critically here.

How much of Obama's deficit was inherited due to the policies of his predecessors?

How much of the annual deficit is currently due to annual "recession era" tax revenues?

How much of the current deficit is a result of the Bush Tax Cuts?

How much of the deficit is due to Keynesian economic policy responses to the greatest recession since 1929? A recession inherited from financial and regulatory decisions from the Clinton/Bush era?

What has Obama done that could be considered "radical liberalism"?

Enhancing the drone program and in one case killing an American citizen?

An healthcare law that gives private insurance companies more payees?

    Adding 33,000 troops to Afghanistan?

Not passing cap and trade laws?

Extending the TEMPORARY bush tax cut two more years, and then only eliminating the Tax cut for the top .05% (> $400,000) of Americans?

Deporting more illegal immigrants annually than his Republican predecessor?

Ending a military policy regarding sexuality that was both archaic and counter-productive?

Its amazing how much you guys are freaking out about a President that has essentially run the country as a center-left wing president.

Hell, compared to the rest of the world's scale on left-right, Obama is a center-right politician, which qualifies him as a left-wing radical in the eyes of the American right.

  • Obama...biggest joke of a President ever! The idiot never takes responsibility for anything. The guy couldn't even pass a budget when his own party was in control. Four more years of hell for our country with a community organizer in charge.

  • Biggest problem I have with Obama is he has not ended the two wars as quickly as I would have liked.

The fact is, he has run the country as center-left, it only seems radical because of the way Fox News has been spinning the narrative for the last 15-20 years.

All of these gun arguments are ridiculous and sensationalized. Regulation is NOT prohibition.

How's your job hunt going in the Obama economy. Still unemployed and talking about how great the President is?

That's funny as shit, however I do feel bad for people looking for jobs in this economy. I read an article in the WSJ that said unemployment for new college grads is the highest ever.

All Presidents inherit things, it's what they do about them that matters. Look, I understand that Bush opened the floodgates on this spending stuff, but I also understand that Obama has done absolutely nothing to fix it. He is as much to blame as Bush is and if it continues like this at the end of eight years he will be more so.

It doesn't matter what he is classified as, it only matters what the results are, and so far they are so-so. He hasn't destroyed the country like much of the Right claimed he would, but he hasn't done a whole lot for it either.
