Of Hoke, Dantonio, and Meyer, who wins a natty...

With Nebraska moving their recruiting into the Midwest, that will hurt MSU. Michigan and tOSU will continue to grab the top talent, and MSU has been thriving off of getting the passed over 3* and low 4* kids. Those are The same type of kids that Nebraska is picking up. It will be interesting watching the Nebraska and MSU recruiting battles in the future.

    We shall see.

I think you need to stop being snarky and realize that Dantonio is one of the main reasons you won your only national championship in the last 40 years. With our schedule in the next few years and the progression of our defense, you can never rule anything out. Not saying it's likely, but who in a million years would have thought Auburn would win a championship last year? Not many.

Even though Ohio States defenses have been rock solid since Dantonio i still rue the day he left Columbus. In my life he is the best DC we have every had and i miss him to this exact second.

Unless Charle Strong & Dan Mullen want to take a step down position, Meyer isnt winning anything.

I give him 2 years before he bails, or gets OSU in more hot water. The guy was outta control at UF.

I understand the asst coaches thing, but 2 years makes you sound like an idiot

Except Hoke won 11 games in his first season, RR 3. Hoke also won with players from the worst 3 seasons in Michigan's history.

  • MsU defense will see how much they miss Jerel worthy. Gholston is probably gone after this year, and its not like you recruited studs for depth. Plus Narduzzi prolly gone too. THE VAUNTED MSU defense will be back to middle of the pack after next yr IMO

Wake me up when MSU goes to a Rose Bowl game. You guys have 4 good years against us, and all of a sudden your the cream of the B1G.

Because you can't win a Natty unless you play in the SEC... truly there are only two really good teams in the SEC, Bama and LSU. The rest are nothing special.

Last year when we lost 1 game by 21?

Sad to see that someone follows the great program of michigan has to settle for bragging about other team's accomplishments now.. too bad

lol this thread is about winning a national title. By the way MSU lost to ND by 18 and Nebraska by 21. That is 2 blowouts. Not gonna win national championships doing that.

Since the inception of the BCS, 5 different SEC teams have won national championships.

    Tennessee (1998), LSU (2003, 2007), Florida (2006, 2008), Alabama (2009, 2011), Auburn (2010)

The next conference has 2, BIG 12.

Look at it this way, Auburn got extremely lucky with Cam Newton, Bama shouldn't have even been in the title game last year, and LSU was a two loss team in 2007. Doesn't help other conferences that the media rides the SECs d*ck. If Michigan wasn't allowed in the game in 2006, why was Bama allowed in this year?

You're making yourself look pretty stupid. Just a reminder, Michigan was driving for the game tying touchdown at the end of the game, not like MSU dominated them. Michigan played like garbage and almost beat MSU, once Hoke gets his players in his system, you may not see MSU win another game for a decade or so.

And MSU gets blown out a couple times a year so I am suppose to believe they will win a national title? I will take the team with the coach who has been at his school one year and won 11 games. I will take the coach who is recruiting top 10/top 5 classes. What say you about the fact that no team has won a national title in the last 10 years without a top10/top 5 recruiting class that contributed heavily to that national title team? Sure sounds like Hoke has a better chance at a national title than Dantonio.

    So just say it then.

The B10 is better than the SEC.

Also, Mich was way way luckier to have Woodson. OSU was even luckier the refs gave them the gm vs Miami, and Auburn was undefeated in 04...

See how dumb your logic is?
