Hoos off to a good start. Freshman Brandon Waddell had 15 k's in his second start. Young pitching holds up we could be could be in for a good run.

minus the whole UF debacle the SEC seems to be off to a very strong start this season as well, cant wait to get into conference games

Fresno State finally gets their shit together and takes 2 of 3 from USCw (L 9-1, W 5-1, W 14-3). Our bullpen is shaky as hell this year. We've had several games where we led solidly prior to the reliever coming in and then they just crapped the bed. I still can't figure out what happened to Linehan. He was our Friday night ace last year and now he's turned into a crappy reliever.
Aaron Judge has suddenly started living up to his potential...if he keeps playing like this he won't make it past the first 5 picks in the draft.

Someone give me a ranking of the SEC teams this year? I pretty much only follow my team.
My guess is SC, LSU, UF, and Vandy are still the cream of the crop?

UF is not the normal UF this year. They are really struggling.
I would say Vandy, SC, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Miss State are the cream of the crop.

Wow, can't believe I just found this thread. College Baseball is EASILY my 2nd favorite besides football. We're legit this season and better than last year. Another ridiculous recruiting class and a few guys that were top 10 round draft picks actually ended up coming to LSU, there's a LOT of talent on this team
We lead the SEC in Homeruns and our pitching is great.. We're #1 to #3 in almost all the polls with the #3 RPI so far with a 16-1 record.
Conference play starts tomorrow with a tough, tough series @ Mississippi State. I'm loving our team though, these Freshmen are SERIOUS man.
SEC is going to be a friggin' dogfight this year, I can't friggin' wait.

Coming up to dudy noble lesticals? Should be an awesome weekend. Really hate that it fell on the back end of spring break though. A lot of students are coming back for it but it will obviously make a difference
I expect a 7-9k type of attendance on average for the games

agree completely
and most MSU-LSU series end up that way
that duel between Stratton and Gausman last year we lost in the 10th was epic and probably the most disheartening game i've ever witnessed
Stratton: 8.2 ip 1 ER, 17 K's,
Gausman: 8.2ip 1 ER, 11 K's
only to have our really really good closer Caleb Reed give up 2 after we took the lead in the top of the 10th

+1 dude that game was epic.. Gausman was the #3 pick in the MLB draft and should get some innings with Baltimore this season at the MLB level
