  • I just heard on the news that some company followed Reuben Foster around shooting a video about his daily routine. He apparently told the people shooting the video that he was still commited to bammer, but he did occassionally think about going to Auburn. Apparently he didnt mention a word about Georgia

    Will this be the first year since Saban's arrival that Auburn tops Alabama in team recruiting rankings on more than 1 site? AU is currently ahead of UA according to Scout & Rivals and is right behind UA on 24/7 Sports & ESPN.

    It would become the most important measuring stick between the 2 programs, IMO.

    Another WR (no big names on the board)
    1 Interior OL (Crowder 15%, otherwise will be a "sleeper")
    Best available (Another RB, Athlete, Safety)

    Probably only room for 20-22

  • Just going to list the players that we have a decent shot with at this point (not saying we lead for them though)

    M. Adams (I think it's 50/50 maybe Clemson leading currently)
    D. Green (Coming into town this week. No clue our chances)
    T. Dye (At this point I don't know if we would take him unless the other RBs we don't feel good about. visiting this week)
    G. Bryant Jr (Committed to Oklahoma but certainly is giving Auburn a lot of attention)
    I. Jones (recently committed to FSU. We are still going to put on a lot of pressure on him and he currently is still somewhat listening)
    Crowder (I don't think anyone truly knows where Crowder is leaning but I never count out Grimes with a OL recruit)
    T. Mathews (Obviously I'm sure he is getting quite a bit of pressure from Reuben to switch to AU)
    S. Wiggins (Would he flip with Mathews? I don't know if Auburn wants him otherwise though)

    Those are the highly rated guys that we are in big competition for. Other lower guys would include people like Wilson Bell, Paschal and Luper.

    I think we will know a lot more about which other RB we really go after this weekend. I hope D. Green has a great time though and wants to commit.

    He's a physical big safety and we need one in this class. We don't have a big time safety yet and have missed on some. I think we have wanted im for a while but obviously Reuben was a much higher recruit for us. I hope he switches but I'm not counting on it at all.

    I don't know why but the last recruiting class after a NC sucked for us (relative to other classes) and it looks like this one might be similar.

    You guys are doing pretty darn well. You seem to be having the same issue we had after our NC season. Doing well but not that big boost you would expect. We are certainly seeing this year.

    I'd say Oline... Mack doesn't look as if he'll play this year and Sullen is not completely back.. The back-up at qb looks to be a situation as well.

    you are on the right track... keep going. Definitely questions on the O-line, LB's, and seems the coaches are hesitant calling out a starter at QB.
