No Auburn friends could make want to go Auburn for a spring game.

I'm a hardcore Auburn fan and I have been to Bama during A-day when you guys first "sold out" the game a few years ago. It wasn't on the same day as Auburn's and I wanted to party and there wasn't much going on in Auburn.

BTW I didn't go to the game even though I was a little tempted to go. I love to watch football and was intrigued by Saban.

ACT's usually take until about 1215 to 1PM. If he took the test in Muscle Shoals it would have took him about 2 hours and 30 minutes. At best he would have been 45 minutes late. They said he also spent the night. There was a test at his school and I assume he took it there. Spring games don't last the usually amount of time either. I just think it would be a stretch if he said he wasn't there and he actually was when he would have to haul to get there.

ACT could have also ended early and it doesn't take two and a half hours from Muscle Shoals.

  • I take both with a LARGE grain of salt, but there are two conflicting reports of what he said and what I've heard happened.

Now one is wrong. Guess we'll find out eventually.

Just taking the official time the ACT site says.... Doesn't Alabama and Auburn now require the written essay? I linked the ACT site and the mapquest time. I would say that traffic wasn't very light either.

I'm just saying its a possibility on the ACT. I've had mine finish a little before or after 12.

On the drive from Muscle Shoals, those estimates are always a little long. It took me about an hour and fifty to get from my buddy's house in MS back to Tuscaloosa.

I believe you but that is pushing the time limit. I guess I'm going to believe what his quotes are about something that can very much be proven false or true. I'm sure there are a few people that know Dee Liner's face and could pick him out of a crowd at A day. Could I be wrong? Absolutely. If he did go to the game then he straight up lied.

This time? Or the two weeks ago when he said he would not be visiting any other school but Auburn?

"I'm not interested," Liner told AuburnSports.com on Thursday. "I'm just not interested at all. I'm not interested in going to Alabama anymore."

I think that maybe a little different than he would not be visiting any other school... I also always thought he would visit Bama. I still do think there is a chance he flips but I feel more confident that he doesn't now than I did earlier today.

See, I thought he would visit Bama too. But you never would have known that from reading a certain sites article about him "never taking visits to other schools" Now that has been amended apparently. I mean, now that it's out in the open that he was lying about that.

I'm not saying he flips, I don't think he will, but I sure as hell am not getting any info from the Rivals AU site to form that opinion. Call me cynical....

I've never said he won't flip. We only can really go by what they say. These quotes aren't the same type that Yeldon said IMO. I do agree the Rivals AU site just plain sucks but Yeldon always said to all the writers on all sites that he was "100% committed". I know you don't go by what every Bama "insider" says either. You would have been an imagine guy if so. I know that you were very much against that. Recruits visit other schools all the time though.

  • I think there is a 10% chance if that that, he flips. What I find ridiculous is how they are trying to pretend he is not going to take visits and feel the other places out. But whatever, they are the ones setting themselves up for it. I would say if the unexpected happens and he does flip that they would never get a subscriber again. But I say that every single year after JLee messes up every hotboard prediction too. So who knows

Did you feel as confident about Yeldon when this was written? Yeldon's message to Auburn fans was not to pay any attention to rumors he may be changing his mind.

Not at all and if you can't see the quotes being different I don't know what to tell you. Like I have stated numerous times. I've never said he won't flip. Right now it likes very unlikely IMO. If you asked me about the Yeldon during that time I would have said I think he sticks to Auburn but not real confident at all.

“People are going to make up rumors and say whatever and say all this. I’m just taking all of my officials. Coach said I could take them.”

    vs.

“I want you to tell all the Auburn fans that I love them and there wasn’t nothing serious about the trip to Tuscaloosa this weekend and I’m 100 percent with Auburn no matter what. Tell them I said War Damn Eagle!”

"I'm trying to be nice, but I know to myself they don't have a chance at getting me."

"I was pissed hearing the rumors. Alabama is still trying to make it like I'm going to go there when I'm 100 percent committed to Auburn. Nothing this weekend changed my mind."

"I know the Auburn fans hear that stuff, and I just wanted to tell them I love them all and War Damn Eagle."
