I was saying that if you lost those 2 iron bowls but still averaged out 2 10 win seasons then he'd keep his job.

BTW I'm not arguing the producing NFL prospects argument. It is a fact that we have more NFL players in the league right now. That will change starting next year though.

Deadrick started a bunch of games for the Pats as well this year.

How are we on the decline when we continue to put our draft eligible players in the nfl and they continue to succeed? Chiz has a buttload of young players that will be in the nfl... they just aren't old enough yet.

And like I said (or implied at least), in a rational world the complete body of work in terms of wins and losses would be factored in, in Alabama going 1-5 against your rival is a problem that nothing can explain away.

If he lost his next two he would be 1-4 not 1-5. I think it would depend on how many games he does win in the next two years. If we win 20 games in the next two years and still lose to Bama twice I don't think there is a shot he gets fired.

Tate was a stud. He averaged 10 points a game. He didn't play last year because he tore his knee up... so they were both in their first year.
