They are using a new 48 frames per second camera that makes it look terrible.
They compared it to the new TVs that have the real motion or whatever it is called. I have that on my TV and absolutely hate it and never turn it on.
It basically makes everything look like a soap opera.

I don't think Twilight will get close to it.
As for TDKR, I think it will be close but The Avengers will hold on to the record.

Might be but given that both LOR and Avatar did much better than expected and this movie already has an established fan base I would not be surprised to see it do extremely well.
BTW I read somewhere that Dark Night Rises will probably not be able to put up the numbers that the Avengers did due to it not being made in 3D thus decreasing the number of actual theaters that will show it.

Those movies (actually I only saw the first one....I was so disappointed that I did not see any of the others) were such a let down. I read the books and was looking forward to seeing the movies.
