I define technically superior as something that does the same thing faster. Of course, there's also an economic component there for doing the same thing equally fast for a lower investment. By any measure, apple is lagging far behind. From a marketing standpoint, though, they're light years ahead of the competition. Otherwise, we wouldn't be having this discussion.
