I like Bradley Cooper, but want him nowhere near Star Wars. Just don't see him fitting into that universe. Maybe as a supporting Jedi or something..

I dunno. He's a good actor that could possibly be a Liam Neeson or Ewan McGregor type leading older Jedi. Maybe not the main character but play a significant role.

He is a good actor. I still view Cooper on the comedy end of the spectrum. The Jedi are serious and solemn for the most part. I would like to see Karl Urban as a Jedi master..possibly Corran Horn. If we come into the picture with the academy already assembled, there will be plenty of roles to go around in the Jedi order.

And that is going to be his biggest problem going forward, escaping from The Hangover guy. But his work in Limitless, Silver Linings, and the not yet released The Place Between The Pines (check out the trailer if you haven't seen it already) show that he can do serious work.

Someone else I would like to see in the films would be Michael Fasabender.

Solid choice with Fassbender. Already know he can handle a saber because of 300.

holy hell, i just had an epiphany. serious and solemn, stoic and valorous.

a few that fit that description very well in movies/shows:

    vigo mortensen
    sean bean
nicolaj caster waldau - could be a great jacen imo, game of thrones jaimie lanister
jason momoa - kahl drogo from game of thrones, would make an awesome sith or badass bounty hunter

hell, you could probably just go down the imdb cast members list for game of thrones and pick random names and they'd be awesome.

i know that kid that is the king now is a great actor, cause i freakin hate that little bitch. i hope he gets cast just so someone can f him up.

sir ian mckellen would be a good, old wise jedi master.
anthony hopkins an evil sith lord or senator/leader of empire/republic

I would like to see the order explored more, that and the actual building itself. Would be VERY cool to see how the Jedi actually function IMO

By building it you would see just that. You have to remember that Luke is the only Jedi. He learns everything from scattered holocron cubes passed down throughout the thousands of years of the Jedi order. There are force techniques, fighting styles and order practices that would make your head spin. The Sith have these same holocrons, which actually predates the Jedi's use by a couple thousand years.

h yeah, I got ya. I have read the wiki a lot, but never the actual books, still though I know about some of these things.

If they would show him in the process of rebuilding the order, and maybe even getting taken over by Exar Kunn(I Believe). That would be sweet.

Yes it would be. That storyline is one of my favorites. I didn't know what I had started when I began reading the books. The detail in everything is amazing. I'm sure you've wasted hours on wookipedia and know exactly what I'm talking about.

I don't think they will. There is just so many other stories to tell there is no reason.

I'm hesitant to say that they never will, but I do think with so many other stories it would be awhile before they would.

You never know with greedy corporations. As long as these new films they are developing are successful there should be no need to remake them.

That's true. If they go the 2-3 films a year route I would expect Star Wars to be the highest grossing film series 3 films in. It's only 3.4B from lead right now and the top 2 are Harry Potter (done) James Bond (puts out a film every 3 years or so). Avatar could heavily compete though since it pulled like 2.5B in one movie.

That far off a Yoda movie is?
Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that the company plans to release Star Wars spin-off films based on individual characters in an interview on CNBC Tuesday.
Star Wars: Episode VII: 8 things to expect based on J.J. Abrams' TV past
The Empire Strikes Back scribe Lawrence Kasdan and X-Men: The Last Stand writer Simon Kinberg will be involved with the films, which are in addition to the previously announced Star Wars VII, VIII and IX.
Toy Story 3 writer Michael Arndt is writing the first new Star Wars screenplay, which J.J. Abrams will direct. When the Walt Disney Company purchased Lucasfilm in October, Disney announced that Star Wars VII would be slated for 2015. The film is the first since Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith came out in 2005, and would chronologically follow 1983's Return of the Jedi.
