Rumors this morning that Yoda is going to get his own stand alone film.
Definitely looks like they are going to follow the Marvel formula.

Would most definitely watch. People don't even know what alien race Yoda is, and there have been few others like him. His origin story is rather bad ass of how he became a jedi, and I would love to see it. Lots of shit went down in Yodas lifetime as he was 900 years old.

There were only two things worth watching in all 3 films. Qui Gon Jinn and Obi Wan vs. Darth Maul and Yoda vs. Count Dooku and Palpatine.

Yoda is literally so bad ass that he doesn't even reach a matter of inches to grab his light-saber from his belt, but rather he uses the force to beckon it to him. There was a standing ovation in the theater after the Dooku fight.

IMO Nolan comes in the picture after this trilogy to do an Old Republic Sith trilogy. That's when the darkness begins.

I'm a huge fan of the OG films and I read a bunch of the subsidiary novels that were geared towards teens I guess when I was younger, but where should I start to read now?

Thrawn Trilogy. Definitely there. Then read through them all. I started with Legacy of the Force and read up from there. I started over with the Thrawn trilogy and wish I would have done that in the first place. I recommend getting them on a tablet so you can look up any name/species you arent familiar with.

Yep. But be sure to read I-Jedi. Great book. Darth Plagueis as well as it's Palpatines origin story.

Yes. Very interesting a lot about Vapaad as well. The planet that the novel takes place on is very cool as well.
