    this is what i thought of when someone mentioned nolan and his dark interpretations like the dark knight series.

    a trilogy of revan and malak, with ep.1 going to fight the mandalorians, with the sith emerging as the final scene, ep.2 with them turning sith, finding the star forge/superweapon, returning and claiming the lord of the sith and starting the jedi civil war, with the end being the betrayal of malak, and ep.3 being revan's retraining to be a jedi and fight/overthrowing malak being the final chapter.

    not to mention the possibility of putting in a "cameo" of the holocron of revan for a future movie/series about darth bane.

    I award you 1,000,000 internets.

    Let's start a little debate. Or maybe not one. If you were showing a wife/lady friend/child the Star Wars film series would you show them 123456 or 456123? Assuming you would allow the person to view 1-3.

    The ending of the third one with the murders of the Jedi leads really well into the 4th one and basically having no hope. It's also really the only way to fully understand the journey of Anakin Skywalker from kid to douchebag to traitor to villain to savior.

    My sisters and I have had a "Star Wars Day" once a year for the past five or so years where we would sit down and watch all 6 in one sitting from 8AM-midnightish. Best days ever.

    Hopefully Star Wars progresses to a point where everyone will forget those 3.

  • I hope the new movies have some of the "gray" jedi's make an appearance. The line between the sith and the jedi seems too absolute in the movies imo. They should have a "good" character who uses force traits that are normally associated with the dark side of the force.

    That would be nice. I think we will see some characters struggle with how much power t use to do things.

    I think it would be pretty cool, but I'm not sure how well some people (parents especially) would react to it.

    That could be cool but I doubt it would ever happen. Some of the smaller backstories would not do as well as others. I think after some of the obvious stories, yoda/boba fett there will be a lot of original stories and spin offs based on new characters in 7-9.

    I really like what y'all are saying about having one from the viewpoint of a Sith. Even just a standalone film as opposed to a trilogy. Assuming we're about to have a lot of Star Wars movies, it would be awesome to have some pretty dark ones.

    R rated Star Wars film would be awesome in my book. I think Star Wars 1313 is first M Rated Star Wars video game.

    One about Vader in between 3-4 would be cool. Books have been done on already though. Darth Vader would have the most interest from general population which is who it is going to be aimed for to make the one billion dollar films.

  • Similar link from earlier but this one says each standalone film will be based on specific character and two are currently confirmed, no clue as to who though. I'd assume Yoda one and Boba Fett.

  • I'm an admitted huge Star Wars nerd, they are my favorite films. I seem to be the only one that would love to see a Yuuzhan Vong trilogy. Those books were awesome, and given the age of the original cast, it could definitely be done. People keep saying they want dark; that's probably the darkest arc in the SW gallery

    I suggested it earlier but said it was a little lengthy for even 3 films. I don't think many films that comes out are going to be a part of a trilogy. The only two confirmed right now besides Ep7 are standalone spinoffs. Will be interesting to see where they take it.

    I was 14 when it came out in 2005. I mainly remember parents being concerned about the content. Also some fans who were upset about it for some reason. I would have to think that all of the future films will be PG13 though.
