******Official laugh at Auburn for keeping Trooper Taylor******

  • Must of black mailed Auburn, him knowing where the bodies are buried must have forced the AD to keep him around. Troopa gonna Troop

  • Is this for real? Someone else mentioned it earlier, but I thought it was a joke.

  • Fired assistants are given the opportunity to work until a new coach takes over all the time. James Willis did it after Tuberville got fired and then Chizik got hired and didn't retain Willis.

That said, I hope the new coach hires Trooper. Trooper gon' Troop. cool

Yeah, he sucks. He's plum sham awful. Why the hell would you want to keep that guy around. He's most certainly the focus of the Memphis investigation. THE FIRST person whose nuts would be chopped would be his. Pay him off, whatever, but if you want to restore credibility and integrity that guy has GOT to go. Unreal.

lol @ "the Memphis investigation." There will be nothing found there just like nothing was found re: Cam Newton.

I know most bammers are too dumb to know this, but your own program is currently being investigated by the NCAA for the Darius Page issue. When are you going to fire Jeremy Preutt? Oh you are not! You instead hired two coaches who were involved in the Nevin Shapiro issue at Miami

You act like the article said anything other than questions were being asked. That was a given since the moment the kid's transcripts were effed with. That's their job to go in and ask questions. They asked questions about Cam, too.

Agreed, most bammers are too dumb to know that a high school kid who transferred to a different high school is much worse then a player who actually signed and enrolled at a school and was found to have his transcript changed by a guidance counselor at the request of a of a fan of said school.

But then again, bammers don't even realize how short their coach is. Stoopid bammers.

Josh Chapman and Kerry Murphy had their high school transcript changed at the request of a bammer assistant coach under Saban. Maybe you can remind us what happened in that case

Albert Means testified in federal court that he cheated on his ACT test to get into school at bammer and bammer coaches knew all about it. Maybe you can remind us what happened in that case

However, I think even both of those things pale in comparison to Saban hiring two coaches involved in the Nevin Shapiro situation at Miami, which might be the worst cheating scandal ever

Yeah bammer has had about 5 or 6 kids who just magically had their grades changed, or cheated on their ACT test, or transferred from one high school to another high school at the encouragement of bammer coaches after having grade problems at the first high school. However, this is just all one huge coincidence and not a sign that bammer is doing anything wrong lol

Really amazed we haven't been caught for all this. auburn keeps getting their name dragged through the mud for no reason, and meanwhile we've got players wearing nice suits with boosters and driving escalades with no shame at all. SMH at the NCAA's misplaced priorities.

Remind me which school has spent most of the last two decades on probation. I will give you a hint. It is not Auburn. Look at the people giving Auburn grief in this thread. An Oregon fan (the op) and bammers. Both of whom are currently being investigated by the NCAA themselves

I can tell you exactly what happened out of the ACT and Albert Means, not a fvcking thing. Albert Means got us put on probation because a booster paid his HS coach 150k to get his LOI signed. Said booster committed "suicide" a few years later with a big bash to his skull that supposedly happened from a botched hanging attempt. Of coure I've heard several stories on this and don't think anybody has heard the same one when it comes to his death.

At least that was the skinny that I heard.

  • He won't be retained by the new head coach. Keeping him would defeat the purpose of the new hire. There is a bad culture surrounding AU football right now. Kids are screwing around, getting arrested, and acting entitled instead of working hard. This new coach will have to come in and put his foot down. When he does, if Trooper is still there, they will run to him after big bad coach yells at them. It will create a rift and divide the locker room. If he backs the coach then they will feel betrayed.and leave. Gene Chizik was never a good head coach, but he wasn't the biggest problem with AU football either.

  • And put all the shady recruiting stuff to the side and there is ALOT and look at the performance of the wide receivers from auburn. Not a whole lot of success there.

You guys will lose Carl Lawson to Clemson or even bama. Montravious Adams is an uga or Clemson lean with auburn out of the picture. Reuben foster will prob switch to Georgia.and dee liner will eventually be in prison. You guys already lost jaquay Williams.

Kerry Murphy went to prep school over that, got eligible. Sorry if that hurts.

Nothing to see on our asst coaches and the Miami thing. Saban wouldn't keep a guy that was in the middle of that crap storm. Ever occur to you that Stoutland left there BC of the mess?
