Exactly. And it's hard to predict where they'll be in the near future at this point.

    What about Boise and TCU?

They have had a lot of success in the last five years and both have won a BCS game. TCU's was over Wisky.

  • Boise belongs up there at like 6 or 7. I think if you put Boise there you have to put TCU there as well

I'd agree more on TCU than on Boise. Their win over Wisconsin was impressive and as long as Patterson is around they'll be successful. It remains to be seen whether the Big 12 move will help or hurt, though.

agreed...now we're going to see how TCU does playing in a tougher conference...they look good going into this season

Yeah and TCU is starting to recruit better talent so its going to be interesting to see what they can do with it.

Probably top 15. Outside of last year you guys haven't had a lot of success in the last five years.

Fair enough. I just think we're set up to have a successful run over the next few seasons as well.

Dallas is a hotbed of talent and it's going to be harder to pull the kids out of Skyline and other schools around that area

I think tougher schedule + better recruiting ends up being something of a wash.

could be right. Patterson is a good defensive coach though. Pachall I think will turn out to be a good QB

I think Skyline is now one of the biggest Baron Flennory Jr. schools he is at

yeah thats the biggest reason. I admittedly don't know much about him, but what I've read I don't like.

I don't really have an issue with that list in that order with OU at 5.

exactly...so many red flags right now with street agents

college athletics is terrible in that ordeal

Well you can reasonably guess what direction the program is headed in. I think that's part of the "current state of the program".

I'm not sure how to fix it either. I think 7 on 7 tournaments being banned from campuses is a start but until all coaches start banning contact between the street agents and the players than it'st just gonna run rampant.

  • I don't see how Ohio State doesn't make the list. They've been a force as of late.

Wisconsin just lost like 63 assistant coaches and a host of great players. They're going to take a hit.

I guess you could make the argument. They beat Arkansas in the sugar year before this and even though the sanctions are bad, urban is one of the best coaches you could get under the circumstances. They're borderline to me. Top 15 I'd say.
