My sister and I spent hours playing Bubble Bobble. Like, entire weekends were wasted. Also, PaperBoy, Castlevania, Skate or Die, and the original TMNT (where you had to defuse the bombs underwater).

I don't think I ever got past the underwater bomb level. Or if I did it was only a few times. Looking back NES games were super hard. nowadays you can beat any game if you put enough time in.

I used to play the game on our old Apple IIe.
It's the last Apple product I have owned.

You start out playing as a helicpoter on a ship and go on land destroying anti-missile defense and AA guns and SCUDs and stuff. If any remembers the name,you are awesome. But yes that was one of my old-school favorites that wasn't like Mario or NBA Jam or something.

the jungle strike desert trike urban strike trilogies were all great. i think i liked urban n jungle the best.

battle toads. home alone. that golden axe game. there was another game where you're like going thru the level n you get different types of guns fall from the sky. beavis n butthead. toejam n earl. pirates gold. still thinking.
snes. donkey kong. super mario all stars.

Great games, except for that Battletoads bike level that is impossible. Kid Icarus was one of my favorites as well as Duck Tales.
TMNT was hard but I liked it. I could never get past the foot clan's spherical tank thing. TMNT Turtles in time was way better of a game, classic arcade style game Simpsons was another like that.
Deserve got nothing to do with it...

seriously... How do you get across those forsakened rivers?? Float it, never works? Push right through it - Good luck? All I was good at was hunting buffalo and rabbits

Blades of Steel was good along with the early-mid NHL series (actually all of the NHL games were pretty good except for a year here and there).
Desert Strike and the other Strike series was great. Being able to gun down little pixels of people was a blast.

I have an old Apple II copy of Oregon Trail somewhere with Andre Hastings in the top 5 scores.
I think my brother stole it from the school in the 80's.

ET isn't rare. It's one of the easiest games to find, and it suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

The buried ET cartridges are also just an urban legend. Comes from the game being the worst game ever made.
